Often, environmental impacts must be assessed at the time of development and, if impacts cannot be avoided, they must be properly monitored and mitigated. Unfortunately, even despite best intentions, the environment can be detrimentally impacted, and various parties will be liable for rectification of those impacts. At SWS Lawyers, we can assist in understanding your obligations under the various pieces of environmental legislation. In particular, we can:
- advise on the environmental assessments and approval requirements for a development;
