James has over 25 years’ experience as a corporate lawyer in Australia and the United Kingdom, specialising in mergers and acquisitions, capital raising and corporate structuring.  He combines technical expertise with a practical and commercial approach.

James’ clients include private and public companies, private equity funds and high net worth investors.  He advises on start-ups and early stage ventures. In addition to frequently acting for buyers and sellers of businesses, he advises on shareholder arrangements, mergers and acquisitions, directors’ duties and corporate insolvency.
