Cheryl is a property, commercial and information technology lawyer with more than 30 years’ experience in in-house roles.  Like several other members of the senior SWS team, Cheryl brings practical and pragmatic experience gained working at large ASX listed and technology companies to her practice.  Her clients benefit from her experience and receive legal advice provided in a commercial context.

Cheryl advises clients on a range of property law matters, including conveyancing and easements, leases and licenses and property development transactions.  She works closely with Paul Jayne and the SWS Property & Planning team to deliver property projects and consider planning & environmental aspects of property transactions.

Cheryl also advises clients on commercial and information technology matters. She has experience drafting, negotiating and advising on Saas, ICT and technology procurement contracts and has worked with clients on hardware, software, network and data projects.  Her experience includes advising on major communications projects including roll out of cellular, digital television and radio and other comminutions services.

Cheryl is known for her analytical thinking, and effective negotiation and communication. She provides clear, commercially focused legal advice. Cheryl has worked in house for BAI Communications, the WPP AUNZ Limited Group, WesTrac and Camplify Holdings Limited.
