We have some more great news to share with the announcement that Susan Moran, Principal of our Litigation team, has been selected as a finalist in two categories including Regional Lawyer of the Year and Mentor of the Year in the NSW Women Lawyers Achievement Awards 2019.

The NSW Women Lawyers Achievement Awards recognises and celebrates the achievements of outstanding women lawyers that have not only excelled in their practice areas but have helped create opportunities for women in the legal profession.

Susan is also a finalist for Regional/Suburban Lawyer of the Year in the Lawyers Weekly Australian Law Awards, announced in our e-alert sent last month, with our firm also nominated for Regional/Suburban Law Firm of the Year. The presentation ceremonies for each of these awards will be held in Sydney next month.

Susan’s nominations recognise her experience and highly regarded track record as a specialist commercial litigation lawyer in Newcastle and the Hunter, together with her committed and ongoing contribution to the mentoring and development of women in the legal profession.

As I have previously mentioned, such industry acknowledgement reflects the outstanding efforts and expertise of our highly experienced team, the quality of work we are able to deliver for our valued clients, and the strong relationships we develop.
