In late 2017, SWS Lawyers welcomed Australian Paralympian Katie Kelly as a special guest at our annual function for clients, colleagues and friends of the firm. Guests were privileged to hear Katie’s inspiring journey, including winning gold at the Rio 2016 Paralympics with her triathlon guide and learning about her charity, Sport Access Foundation, which focuses on giving financial support to children with a disability so they can participate in sport.

In 2019, Katie has a new goal of competing in the 2020 Paralympics in Tokyo.  To compete against the best, Katie and her new guide need a new tandem bike, custom made in California, at a cost of $28,000.  Katie needs support to make this exciting and challenging journey happen.
