Reid is a commercial lawyer with 5+ years of legal experience in both Australia and the United States.  He is admitted in New South Wales as well as licensed to practice law in Texas and California in the U.S.  In addition to his legal experience, Reid also has a wealth of practical business knowledge and experience gained in management and as a company director.

Reid has a background in a range of corporate and commercial legal areas.  He has provided advice on commercial agreements, mergers and acquisitions, defense contracts, FMCG legal issues, import and export issues, as well as intellectual property matters.  Reid is known to be easy to deal with and able to provide clear, timely legal advice.

Prior to joining SWS Lawyers in 2022, Reid spent twelve years as a manager and director for the Australian-owned Saxby’s Soft Drinks.  Prior to that, he spent several years in the U.S. practicing as a lawyer at a boutique legal firm, specializing in international business transactions, as well as working for the Trade & Customs team at KPMG.  The combination of Reid’s functional business background, together with his diverse legal and advisory experience, makes him an asset for clients needing to tackle complex legal and commercial issues, across a broad range of market sectors.
